COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2014: MEET THE LATEST BATCH OF PERFECTLY GROOMED ATHLETES

What better way to kick off proceedings than with Australia's very own Ed Jenkins. The rugby star, 28, is formidable on the pitch as well as off it, as his marketing appeal quite clearly suggests.  The sculpted warrior clearly knows his way around a grooming cabinet.

Chiselled, sharp and dashingly good looking - England's Ashley McKenzie easily makes it onto our list of best groomed athletes at Glasgow.  The gold medal winning judo champion clearly spends a fair bit of time in the bathroom honing his grooming skills to perfection.  You get the feeling ?McKenzie won't be short of marketing offers once his fighting days are done.

The young Scottish swimming sensation, Michael Jamieson, may have narrowly missed out on a gold medal in the 200m breaststroke final, but no one can deny him a worthy mention on our 'best groomed athletes at Glasgow 2014' list.

It's hard to believe this Olympic and Commonwealth gold medal winner is just 22 years of age! Chad le Clos of South Africa was famously touted by his father as his 'beautiful boy', and who are we to argue?  This baby-faced assassin makes it onto our list of groomers based on his clean cut, well groomed sleek image.

Louis Smith is never short of ideas for his style and image.  The English gymnast and Strictly Come Dancing star made his comeback in Glasgow after his spell out with depression, but when it comes to his male grooming routine, Smith hasn't disappointed us so far, with his designer facial hair and quirky hairstyles.  Smith would definitely make an ideal model for a men's skin care brand.
